Sophronia Ellis Sickler Family
Sophronia Jennie Ellis was born December 7, 1850 in Worcester,
Worcester Cty, MA to Jedediah Ellis
and Harriet Moffitt. She married Isaac
Henry Sickler in Pulaski, Oswego Cty, NY about 1867. He was born
September 22, 1837 in Pulaski. They had the following children:
Luther Sickler
George Vernon Sickler born April 9, 1868 in Vernon Cty, WI
married November 25, 1890 in Summit, Juneau Cty, WI to Mary Matilda
Baker. They were divorced. George married Myrtle Mercer on October
28, 1897 in Beloit. George died May 22, 1942 in Fond du Lac, Fond
du Lac Cty, WI.
Annie Lodima Sickler born July 12, 1870 in Beloit, Rock Cty,
WI, married in 1892 to Eugene Victor Fey and died after 1942.
Eugene Fey was the son of John Fey and Lozina Violetta Rosannah
Hornbeck. He was b. September 6, 1868 in Prairie du Sac, Sauk
Cty, WI and d. February 12, 1937 in Reedsburg, Sauk Cty, WI. Their
children:
1. Eugene Fey b. Mar 1895 WI
2. Tress Fey
Harriet Emma Sickler born March 12, 1873 in Mauston, Juneau
Cty, WI married Charles Truckenmiller and died April 24, 1959
in Rockford, Winnebago Cty, IL.
William Charles Sickler born February 5, 1875 in Mauston,
Juneau Cty, WI, married June 16, 1896 to Josie Putnam in Beloit,
Rock Cty, WI. He died after 1902.
Herbert J. Sickler born September 22, 1878 in La Valle, died
after 1902.
Sydnia Wilkerson Sickler born December 14, 1879 in La Valle,
Sauk Cty, WI*, married June 3, 1896 in Clinton, WI to Freda Olga
Zwiehler and died after 1959.
Sophronia and Isaac divorced and she remarried to Milo Leffingwell
in 1893.
Isaac remarried to Ella Miller Stafford in 1890 and they had
a child Mima Sickler in 1894. Isaac d. Oct. 4, 1912 in an old
soldier's home in Milwaukee.

Isaac Henry is this Isaac I'm pretty sure and he is the son of
George.
As you can see the names of Vernon, Henry and Harriet were
passed down from Sophronia's side. Also, Sophronia is sometimes
shown as Sophia.
While reviewing IGI files in the LDS web site I found another
Isaac Sickler born 1838 in Halfmoon, Saratoga, NY to Abram S.
and Catherine Fallow Sickler. Also found were William Henry Sickler
b. 5 May 1832 in Halfmoon to Abram and Catherine. A marriage is
record for William Henry Sickler on 3 Jun 1854 in Halfmoon to
Alvira Smith, and another marriage in 1861 to Laverne Hungerford
in Delaware, NY.
