Lemuel Moffitt, son of Isaac and Sarah Larned Moffitt, born
January 20, 1768 in Charlton, Massachusetts. He married January
27(17), 1793 in Oxford, Worcester, MA to Lucy, daughter of Jeremiah
Amidown and resided in the west part of Oxford. Lucy was born
December 5, 1769 in Oxford, Worcester, MA. Lemuel died June 14,
1830 at age 72 and she died November 19, 1841. Their children:
Betsey Moffitt born May 12, 1793 Oxford, married September 25, 1814 to Edward Wetherell and they had three children: Amasa S., Edward N., and Betsey Miranda Wetherell.
Isaac Moffitt born October 11, 1794 Oxford, died November 3, 1795 in Oxford m: Lucy Amidown b: 1768 d: November 19, 1841 and they had three children:
Aaron H. born August 1, 1836 in Oxford, died June 26, 1849 in Oxford.
Albian C. Moffitt born December 22, 1838, died May 1878, married Nellie L.V. Daniels.
Alexander C. Moffitt born August 30, 1841.
