Henry Olin I, son of John Olin III and Sarah Card was born August 12, 1776 at East Greenwich, RI. It would appear that East Greenwich is more likely as that is where all of his siblings before and after him were born. He died in Plymouth Twsp, Ashtabula Cty, OH on May 4, 1850 and was buried at Maple Grove Cemetery in Plymouth Twsp, Ashtabula Cty, OH[1 ]. He married Silence Greene and there is a marker for S.O. next to Henry's marker which must be Silence. An Ashtabula History book was found with genealogies included at the Ashtabula Library. In this book I found more information that documents a definite descendancy from John Olin of Rhode Island (including a wonderful old photograph of the Alson Olin Family, who was the brother of Henry Olin I).[2 ] Henry and Silence Greene Olin's children were: Sally, Peleg, Henry, Dimres, Alson, John, Nancy and Horace.

John R. Olin b: January 16, 1810 d: 1892 m: Polly Ann Babcock c. 1833. According to the Michigan Census of 1850, this family resided in Eaton Cty, Roxand Twsp, Ohio.
Nancy Olin b: 1815 never married
Horace Olin b: February 16, 1818 in Shaftsbury, Bennington Cty, VT d: October 2, 1861 Plymouth, Ashtabula Cty, OH m: October 2, 1851 in Albion, Crawford Cty, OH to Harriet Richards b: February 18, 1832 in Orangeville, Genessee Cty, NY. Harriet was the daughter of Nancy Mariah Olin through her marriage to Daniel Richards. Nancy Olin b: December 16, 1805, d: January 11, 1877 m: December 25, 1825 and was the daughter of Ezra Olin-a brother to Henry Olin.
