John Ellis, Sr. m. 2nd to Joan Clapp (widow of John Clapp)
Medfield MA. She died 3/21/1703/4. Their children:
Samuel, Joseph and Elezor.
Second Generation
John Ellis, son of John Ellis and Susan Lumber was b. 4/26/1646
in Dedham, MA and d. 11/14/1716 Medway, MA. He m. 1st on 2/1/1677-8
to Marie Herring in Medfield,MA and had two children: John and
Joseph.
He married 2nd to Mary Hill 4/7/1698. She was b. 10/28/1662
and d. 3/3/1729. Their children were: mary, Sarah, Hannah and
Samuel.
